Byllesby Dryland Derby Vendor FAQ

  • The race and weight pull is located at the Lake Byllesby Regional Park in Cannon Falls, MN.
  • Byllesby Dryland Derby is an outdoor event and vendors should anticipate exposure to the elements. In the event of severe weather or heat, the race and/or weight pull may be cancelled. In this event that both race and weight pull are cancelled both days, vendors will be refunded their fee. Fees will not be refunded in the event of a partial cancellation, such as one day of the race or weight pull being cancelled.
  • Vendors that are accepted for our event will receive a confirmation email. It will include instructions for submitting payment, as well as where to email us a copy of your Minnesota ST19. On or after October 1st, you will also receive map to help you find your space, a parking pass and any additional information.
  • Space is limited! We guarantee a minimum booth size of 10 x 10. The larger the spot the more limited the availability but we will do our best to accommodate everyone.
  • While our vendor space is a flat rate that covers all days and we prefer that our vendors be onsite for the full event, we do not require it. We understand that circumstances may arise that will not always allow our vendors to be onsite for the full event.
  • The race and weight pull begins on Saturday and ends on Sunday. Vendor setup can begin Friday evening prior to the show; however no overnight security will be provided.
  • Each vendor picks the daily starting and ending times that they feel best fits the products or services they provide. The racers will be arriving at 8 am on Saturday for the racer’s meeting. The race will start each day is 9 am. The last racer can start as late as 2 pm but they are generally earlier than that. Race awards will be conducted on Sunday between 2-3 pm, depending on the number of racers registered. The weight pull weigh in starts at 1 pm, and the weight pull match starts at 2 pm. Weight pull may wrap up as late as 6 pm and awards will be done each day at the end of the event.
  • Each vendor space comes with 1 vendor parking pass that will allow our vendors to park 1 vehicle at the trailhead each day. This will indicate to our volunteers that you should be allowed access to the vendor parking area. Any additional vendor parking needed will be in general parking. The general parking is a walkable distance to the vendor spaces if the person is not trying to carry product in.
  • Vendors should bring any equipment needed to conduct their booth including canopy, table and chairs as appropriate. There is extremely limited seating located around the vendor spaces.
  • The TCDPS booth will be marked on your map. The booth will be immediately adjacent to the vendors and manned through the majority of the race. Portable restrooms will also be located close to the vendor booths. Trash and recycling bins are available adjacent to the portable restrooms.
  • A map of our vendor spaces will be provided on our website, the TCDPS Facebook page (located at https://www.facebook.com/twincitiesdogpoweredsports/) and TCDPS group. We value our partnership with the vendors, this is also the Facebook page that initiates, shares, and updates the information for the FB Event including updates in the event of inclement weather.
  • You are able to bring in A-Frame and staked to the ground Flag style signs to help promote your business.
  • We ask that our vendors help keep an eye open for anyone who may need assistance. If assistance is need, please contact the race marshall or another TCDPS board member, or dial 911.
  • We view you as a partnership and want everyone to have a good experience. We want to make sure that things are running smoothly for all our vendors. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if there is something we can do to better support you.
  • The information you provide on your vendor application is entered into our database for use with future races. Each spring we will use the database to invite vendors to the upcoming races through email. These applications will already have your personal information filled in for the upcoming show. You need only to update the name, address, phone number(s), and products/services offered if they have changed. We will send out the applications to our vendors by email generally in the end of March – May timeframe. If you have changed your email address, or for some other reason did not receive the application you can contact me through the TCDPS website.
  • Once October 1st comes, the vendor map will be completed and sent out to the approved vendors by email. This email will identify your vendor space by number so you will be able to locate your space on the map. The email will also include other helpful information such as how you will receive your vendor parking pass.
  • If you have any questions, please let us know at info@tcdps.org. While TCDPS may not be able to control the weather or guarantee that all our vendors will have a successful show every year, we do all we can to stack the deck in your favor. We appreciate the support of all of our new and returning vendors as you really do help to make this an outstanding show for all of the attendees!
